What a decade for change the 1970s were! Divorce, liberation for minorities and women, changing gender norms, and, oh wait, don’t forget a conservative backlash. The music scene exploded with new styles and new takes on old styles. Rock, hard rock, heavy metal, country rock, album oriented rock, progressive rock, R&B and urban funk, punk, new wave, synth pop, power pop, reggae and aftrobeat, and more. Whether you were foxy, stylin’, or funkadelic, it was a fun time to be alive. We’ll talk all about it here.
